We’re looking forward on all the new changes.
Hopefully there will be a short and easy way to get functionality
into your swf files, without a lot of code. Somewhat like J-query is doing.

i thought as3 was already based on an early draft of ecmascript4. for example classes do not exist in es3 but as3 has them. however there seems more coming up with es4. but i think the question is when will the final spesification for es4 be released and will it be implemented as javascript2.
